Dr. Dinesh Thotala is an advisor, academician, and researcher at Washington University with a focus on cancer research and mentoring students to best achieve their academic potential. Dr. Thotala is an Associate professor in the Cancer Biology Division of the Department of Radiation at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Thotala is focused on developing novel treatments to treat cancer. Dr. Thotala’s primary areas of research include immune suppression from radiation damage. Dinesh Thotala has taught several courses at both University College and College of Arts and Sciences to a diverse student population including international students. Dr. Thotala is passionate to teach and mentor the students in cancer research and help students appreciate the translational aspect of novel cancer research.
