Jessica (Stanko) Weldon

Assistant Director of Programs, Skandalaris Center for Interdisciplinary Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Jessica graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2006 earning a bachelor of arts degree in Communications. She joined the Skandalaris Center in 2014 after five years with the WUSTL Career Center. She earned a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Washington University in 2013. Jessica brings the skills and experience she gained from advising students in the Career Center to the Skandalaris Center to work with students and campus colleagues interested in entrepreneurship. She plans and executes 3 annual programs (Startup WU, Summer Internship, and StEP), recruits mentors & manages logistics for the Hatchery Class, advises students on getting involved with the Skandalaris Center, and tracks data for the Princeton Review survey on entrepreneurship. She also manages the student assistants and is a 4-year advisor for Arts & Sciences students. When not working, Jessica enjoys traveling, reading, practicing yoga, and hiking.
