The Beyond Boundaries Peer Mentoring Program fosters connections between older students and first-years. First year students are paired up with sophomores at the beginning of the academic year, and, through a variety of program and campus opportunities, they build relationships. Sophomore mentors take on the role of informal, personal advisors to their mentees. They connect at regularly scheduled BB programming or find time on their own to chat and discuss topics relevant to their lives. The goal is to continue developing this program and create a continuous mentoring experience through all the student cohorts.
